The 2025 School Season has closed!

Thank you for your interest in the Elm Grove School for Lifelong Learning!

The 2025 season has now closed. Each fall, we are honored to welcome hundreds of students to more than 36 enriching classes — ranging from military history and global affairs to art appreciation and creative exploration.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all our presenters and students for making this year such a meaningful and successful season. We look forward to learning and growing together again next fall.

Mission

Elm Grove School for Lifelong Learning (EGS4LL) is a self-supporting non-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching the lives of others by providing learning opportunities designed to promote adult education, conversation, and social interaction in a safe and welcoming environment. EGS4LL is sponsored by COMMUNITY United Methodist Church (CUMC) in Elm Grove, WI as a broad and inclusive outreach to the public. All are Welcome!

Classes

Our school specializes in interesting, informative, and enjoyable non-credit Adult Enrichment Classes. Since opening our doors in 2017, we have offered nearly 330 classes covering a wide variety of topics including:

EGS4LL classes are taught by outside professionals who are passionate about their subjects and eager to share their knowledge and experiences with other lifelong learners.

 

Classes are typically scheduled to meet just one time, for 1-2 hours on Mondays or Tuesdays during the first six weeks of October and November. Classes start at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., or 1:30 p.m.
